S620Q carbon structural steel equivalent materials

EN10025-6 S620Q carbon structural steel is equivalent to GB/T Q620, DIN StE620V, AFNOR E620TR, EN FeE620V. DIN EN 10025-6 S620Q is a quenched and tempered high-strength carbon steel plate, which is particularly suitable for applications requiring high strength and good formability. It has excellent weldability and can be welded by all common welding processes. The steel is used in a wide range of industries, including the automotive, construction and engineering sectors.

The chemical composition of DIN EN 10025-6 S620Q structural steel is as follows: Carbon 0.2%, Silicon 0.5%, Manganese 0.9%, Phosphorus 0.03%, Sulphur 0.025%, Chromium 1.0-1.5%, Nickel 0.8-1.1%, Molybdenum 0.7-1.0%, Vanadium 0.2-0.4%, Copper 0.1-0.4%, Niobium 0.05-0.15%, Titanium 0.04-0.1%, Aluminium 0.02-0.1% and Nitrogen 0.03%. The mechanical properties of DIN EN 10025-6 S620Q are as follows: Tensile strength (Rm) 630-800 MPa, Yield strength (Rp0.2) 500 MPa, Elongation (A) 16-25%, Hardness (HB) 240-290, Impact strength (KV) -20°C, Charpy V-Notch (J) at -20°C is 40J.

S620Q carbon structural steel is used in a variety of applications, including automotive components, construction materials, engineering components and power generation components. It is also used in the manufacture of parts for off-road vehicles, agricultural machinery, mining equipment and industrial machinery.
